Odd Johnson is the glitch in The Johnson Collective. The place where logic breaks, reality bends, and absolutely nothing makes sense. These are the videos that refuse to fit into any other category — moments so confusing, so bizarre, so absurdly unexplainable that they exist in their own dimension. Odd Johnson is the home of my strangest instincts, where the goal isn’t clarity or narrative, but raw, unapologetic weirdness.
PAST EXPERIENCE & CURRENT ABILITY
I’ve always had a streak of absurdity in me — the ability to create moments that make people tilt their head, squint, laugh, or feel slightly disturbed without knowing why. This category captures that instinct. Odd Johnson lets me operate outside of structure and outside of expectation. No rules, no pattern, no explanation. Just surreal visuals, strange choices, odd behaviors, and decisions that break the viewer’s brain for a moment. I’m naturally good at leaning into the bizarre, and this category gives me permission to explore that fully.
FUTURE GOALS
Odd Johnson will continue to grow into a collection of pure, distilled absurdity — a vault of moments that feel like they slipped out of a dream or a parallel universe. As I evolve, I want this category to become one of the most memorable aspects of the Collective: unpredictable, iconic, and instantly recognizable. Long-term, Odd Johnson will help shape my filmmaking style as well — teaching me how to use surrealism, discomfort, and humor to create unforgettable scenes. This is the category with no rules, no boundaries, and no explanation. Just the strange brilliance of the unexplainable.
